We just spent a couple of weeks in Cyprus and came across these phones. In Nicosia I was giving up on seeing a phone in the Old City but just outside the walls, by the Museum entrance there was a very special one – solar powered (see below):

We took a trip to Battle today (think Norman Conquest 1066AD) and came across a phone box tucked into history:
We took a short trip to Vienna recently. I love the 1970’s style of box found out at the cemetery and in one of the museums. There was even a nod to the iconic London red box.
