Here are two from our recent visit to Zurich. We were particularly surprised to see the defibrillator aside the phone. A new one for me. A very sensible thing to do but I guess you need to trust the public not to vandilise the equipment.
Covent Garden
In my wanderings I came across this row today.
A colleague of my husband’s told him, after seeing this blog, that I was either insane or a genius. Hmmm. She suggested I apply for a lottery grant to pursue my art. An interesting thought.
Iceland
We visited stunning Iceland in 2007. We didn’t catch any Northern Lights so will have to return.
Art gallery
Just read about a phone box being turned into a gallery:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8145926.stm
“A group of residents in Settle, North Yorkshire, have turned an old-fashioned phone box into what they claim is one of the world’s smallest art galleries.”
Israel & Palestine
Here are a few more from the Israeli tour weekend. Clockwise from top left is Palestine, a petrol station, the Dead Sea and the Arab Quarter in Jerusalem.

The very first
Here is the first photo I took on this theme. It was taken on a tour of Egypt and has my room buddy in the photo.
